FAQ
FoodComply is an all-in-one food safety and quality management platform that helps food businesses digitize compliance, streamline traceability and stay audit-ready. It covers records, non-conformances, corrective actions, documents, suppliers, training and traceability in one system.
Food manufacturers and processors across meat and poultry, seafood, dairy, bakery, confectionery, fresh produce, beverages, food ingredients, agricultural production, contract manufacturing, packaging and food distribution. FoodComply is used by quality managers, food safety managers, operations managers and food safety directors across single-site facilities and multi-site organizations.
FoodComply was built for food safety and quality teams. Forms, tasks, CAPA, document control, suppliers, training and traceability work together in one system, so records link to each other and the same data is not entered twice.
FoodComply helps facilities work toward and maintain compliance with FSSC 22000, BRCGS, SQF, IFS and ISO 22000, along with HACCP-based programs. Certification itself is awarded by your certification body, and FoodComply keeps the records, documents and audit trail it asks to see.
Yes. One account can cover multiple facilities and departments, and multi-site dashboards let group-level teams see every site in one view.
Yes. Your food safety team can build and edit forms, checklists, limits, alerts and workflows without a developer. Our support team can also make changes for you at no extra charge.
You can configure rules so a failed check, an out-of-spec result or an overdue task opens a corrective action (CAPA) and sends email alerts. Missed and overdue tasks escalate to supervisors.
Yes. Schedule audits, run them on mobile with pre-built or custom checklists, attach photos and documents as evidence, and link every finding to a CAPA. The audit trail stays complete, so you are ready when an external auditor calls.
All SOPs, policies and documents are stored in one centralized, version-controlled library. Staff can acknowledge updated documents, managers can track who has read and signed off on each version, and document owners receive automated reminders when reviews are due.
Yes. FoodComply links supplier lots to the batches and products made from them, so you can trace a finished product back to its ingredients, or an ingredient lot forward to every product it went into. The same records support mock recall exercises.
Yes. FoodComply supports FSMA 204 record-keeping, and you can produce a traceability report in an exportable format for the FDA or your customers.

Yes. Company settings let you enforce first-in-first-out (FIFO) or first-expired-first-out (FEFO) when stock is used.
Each supplier has a dedicated space to manage certificates, COAs, NCRs, supplier questionnaires, records and other documents. Track supplier compliance and document expiry dates from one central dashboard, receive automated reminders, and manage non-conformances and corrective actions, keeping your suppliers compliant and audit-ready.
Yes. Forms accept photo attachments and barcode or QR code scanning, on a tablet or phone on the production floor.
FoodComply has iOS and Android apps. The mobile app supports offline use, and submissions made offline sync to FoodComply once the device reconnects. The web version needs an internet connection.
Any internet-connected device works, including personal phones. Tablets are recommended for the production floor because the larger screen makes forms quicker to complete.

Integrations can be configured and edited on your side. Tell us which system you use and we will confirm the approach.
Devices and sensors that send data via a REST API can be connected through our integration engine, allowing readings to be captured automatically without manual entry. Most teams are up and running within a month, and larger or more complex rollouts can take up to three months. Rollout is iterative, so your team can start using FoodComply early while further forms and workflows are added in stages.
Our team does the setup in-house, including moving your existing forms, SOPs and documents into FoodComply as a digital copy of what you use today. You appoint a champion on your side who supplies information, approves progress and signs off the finished setup.
Training is included in onboarding and delivered online in regular sessions that taper off as your team gets comfortable.
Every client gets a personal account manager, plus email and chat support. Changes to forms and configuration are covered by standard support, with no hidden fees.
